認識婚前健康檢查

結婚不僅代表愛情的昇華，更是人類能傳宗接代、生生不息的保證。婚姻的幸福除了用心經營，更須要有健康的體魄來維 持，從優生學的觀點來看，有健康的體格才能培育優良的下一代，確保後代子孫的幸福。由於有些遺傳疾病患者並不自知，加上社會風氣日益開放，各種性病及傳染 病日益增多，皆已嚴重威脅到下一代的健康，像是常見的地中海貧血、先天性梅毒、愛滋病…等等，因此為了自己及另一半健康，為了後代子孫的福祉，婚前健康檢 查實有其必要性及迫切性。藉婚檢的篩檢，可減少先天性缺陷兒的降臨，發現及中斷不良遺傳因子的傳播。「預防勝於治療」大家耳熟能詳，但身體力行的卻不多， 許多遺傳性疾病其實是可以預防的，只要很少的費用就可達成，否則一旦悲劇發生就得付出極大的代價及社會成 本。
「婚前健康檢查」的主要目的即在於使男女雙方對自己及對方的健康狀況在婚前能有確切的瞭解，並進一步請教專科醫生，有關未來婚姻生活中所應注意的相關事項，且提早接受治療，有了健康的父母才能確保能有健康活潑的下一代。
 
‧婚前健檢的對象：
婚前健檢適用於即將結婚、預備結婚、甚至剛結婚不久尚未懷孕的人，包含廣泛的年齡層，非侷限於年輕男女。
 
‧婚前健檢的內容:
完整的婚前健康檢查是先辦理一般體檢的項目，並且強調身心狀況及家族疾病史的瞭解，如經檢查發現疑似個案再依情況給予進一步的遺傳疾病、精神疾病、傳染性疾病檢查。一般婚前健康檢查項目如下 : 身體檢查－身高、體重、血壓、視力及胸、腹部、生殖器檢查。檢驗部分－尿液、血型、血球數量、梅毒、愛滋病檢查、Ｂ型肝炎抗原抗體、及胸部Ｘ光。另外，男性加作精液分析、女性加作德國麻疹抗體檢測。
